Andrew Grantham's page

'ow do!

I'm Andrew Grantham. Originally from Kingston upon Hull in Yorkshire, I'm now living in Surrey.

I've written a short history of railways in Afghanistan (yes, there were some), and gathered some notes on railways in Iraq. I've taken a few photographs of early warning sound mirrors on the British coast.

Some photographs I've taken of railways, the usual collection of mug shots of people I know, and one or two other things can be found in my picture gallery.

I'm a member of the Hull & Barnsley Railway Stock Fund, whose webpages I maintain.

A while ago I read Mineral Sciences at Pembroke College, part of the University of Cambridge. You can download my part III project on cation ordering in amphiboles if you are very bored.

My family's webpages include my dad's collection of stories behind unconsecrated burials.

If you want to get in touch with me you can send me a message using an on-line form.
